Winston Medical Supply Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Medigen Biotechnology Corp. has obtained the certification of PIC/S GMP from Food and Drug Administration of Taiwan on Dec. 27th, 2014. With permit # (AP)0037096, this certification granted Winston Medical Supply Co., the permission to manufacture sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

About 500 people were injured in Formosa Water Park explosion in June 27th. Burn patients need to be treated with ointment every day, and severely burned patients should be treated more frequently. The amount of burn ointment required for the treatment is estimated to be at least 20,000 bottles per week. To timely supply this large demand, Winston speeded up the production of burn ointment since the next day of the accident. The production was therefore raised to 300kg per day.
